The Department of Periodontology & Oral Pathology is dedicated to the study, diagnosis, and management of diseases affecting the gums, supporting tissues, and oral structures. The department combines clinical training with microscopic and diagnostic research to help students understand the progression of periodontal and oral pathological conditions, ensuring effective prevention and treatment for better oral health outcomes. This department also deals with the treatments of tooth sensitivity, loose teeth-gums, recessed gums, gummy smile, bad breath and different types of oral ulcers, burning mouth syndrome, facial palsy, oro-facial pain, and similar problems.
